I spent four nights in June and found a very friendly staff. The location is convenient and has a wonderful view of the lake. But it is a bit dirty and my A/C did not work. The housekeeping of the rooms is spotty at best. Cannot beat the price! You basically are getting what you pay for which is minimal.

Our experience at Hotel Bigfork was extremely enjoyable and one of the most memorable of our trip. The staff was very friendly, polished and professional and always aware of our needs. Our drinks were never empty, our ashtrays never full and the laughter was constant. Patrons were also friendly, sharing great Montana stories with all the tourists enjoying cocktails on the deck overlooking the beautiful Flathead lake at sunset. Before ordering our dinner we enjoyed casino gaming and won a few dollars, nearly enough to pay for the fabulous meal Chef Rosario prepared and presented in his own unique and passionate Sicilian style.
From the seafood to the steaks, the pasta to the salad, the bread and the dessert, it was homemade and 5 star from start to finish and THEN the music started. WOW what an international conglomeration of experienced, enthusiastic musicians we witnessed on stage playing old and new favorites that we could listen or dance to. More fun for us all! If you ever get to the Flathead Valley, Hotel Bigfork is a must place to go for a great time, fantastic food, music like none you've heard and laughter till it hurts. Take my word for it, you''ll have the time of your life!
