We stayed here 6/28/07. The hotel was previously a "Budget Host", has the same ownership, but is no longer affilated with the chain. However, it's still a budget motel.
It is an older type budget hotel. However, there were some concerns that bothered us. The only light in the bathroom was turned on by rotating the dial on an automatic timer that set the length of time the light would stay on. That sounds like a good way to make sure the light doesn't get accidently left on for long periods of time. In reality it means that the light is is going to turn itself off at a preset time, and if you're not through showering yet, or otherwise indisposed, the light doesn't care...
The paint on the toilet seat was pealing off, the A/C was very loud, and the bed hard. The small table in the room was sticky, and appeared to have had something spilled on it and not cleaned up. Both bath towels were so thin that we had a hard time getting completely dry after our showers.
A sign said small pets were allowed, but nothing was said about limiting them to certain rooms.
I wouldn't stay here again nor would I recommend the hotel to anyone.
