“The place to stay when visiting the FLW area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

I am a frequent visitor to the Fort Leonard Wood/St. Robert Area and have found Liberty Lodge to be a welcome and relaxing hotel for me to stay during my visits. What they lack with amenities (pool, breakfast, etc.), they more than compensate with a friendly, professional staff that is a welcome site after a long drive. Each time I stayed at the hotel, my room was spotless and prepared with the utmost care. As a college teacher, their free Wi-Fi allowed me to keep up with my e-mail and on-line courses. I was also impressed that the hotel has a business center with a computer and printer in the main lobby should I need to use it. The hotel has a desk clerk at the front desk 24-hours a day to provide assistance should the need arise. The hotel is centrally located within a short driving distance for shopping, dining, and quick access to the Fort Leonard Wood front gate (it’s actually one of the closest hotels to Fort Leonard Wood). During my most recent visit, I found that in addition to the Panera Bread restaurant next door, they now have a 24-hour gas station/convenience store and the area’s only Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar in the same complex as the hotel. Without a doubt, Liberty Lodge is where I will continue to make my reservations over all the competition during my visits to the area.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet stay, choose a room on the South end of the building. If you're a light slee...

“excellent customer service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

I am in the customer relations business and the entire team of liberty lodge was awesome. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I was staying there on business for 6 weeks. An all around great place to stay if only for a night or for a month and a half. Thank you very much for making my trip away from home more comfortable.

“Would rather sleep in a tent!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

The room smelled like mildew. I tried 2 different types of air freshener, but neither one could kill the horrible smell. The door appeared to have been kicked in at some point. It was so warped that I had to put all of my weight into it just to lock it. The entire week I was here, the floor was not vacuumed at all, and only a poor attempt was made to make the beds. The bedding did not smell clean at all. There were bugs all over any light that was turned on. I could go on, but I think everyone will get my point. Given the option to stay here again or sleep in a tent, I'd take the tent, hands down.

Jessica, as we spoke when you checked out, we are saddened that we were not given the opportunity to address the concerns you had with your room before you left. Each of your concerns were corrected immediately that same day. I understand that you travel a lot and would like to encourage you to address any concerns you have immediately with the hotel you are at. There are many things that can be done to make your stay more enjoyable, if the hotel is aware. I wish you safe and happy travels. Thank you for your time!

“Great time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

We booked multi rooms for my sons graduation at Ft Leonardwood, The rooms were clean the staff was friendly and helpful I tip my hat to Amanda the night shift clerk (awesome). Location was just what was needed easy to get to the base, dinning and a walmart just around the corner. Thank you for making Aug 2011 a great time for the family. They didn't have a pool but, gave pool passes to 4 other Hotels very close and a small water park was within walking distance from our room that only cost a couple bucks.

Thanks again
Russ & Mindy

“Great hotel in a convenient location with very friendly and accomodating staff.”

I stayed there for a week while my wife, baby, and I were moving out of our house. The service was very friendly and prompt. The rooms were nice, clean, and the A/C worked very well. Even though the hotel was next to the interstate, we slept very well. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The price was reasonable - all the hotels in the area are more expensive because of the fort. I liked that they had free laundry machine and drier. There was only one so we had to wait a bit. I would definately stay again if I'm in the area.

Room Tip: First floor, facing Panera Bread restaurant
