Lisa & Mike are doing a fantastic job at their B&B! We had a business retreat there and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend the School House B&B to anyone looking for a special place to hold a meeting! The food was great, everything so clean, nice areas to assemble in, and the rooms are so comfortable! I can't say enough about the hospitality and ammenities! If you don't have business to conduct, go there anyway! What a great place to relax and unwind!

We spent my birthday at this B&B. I was wonderful. It is a lovely place and the innkeepers were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a small room on the 3rd floor which is actually the attic. The room was clean, inviting and very cozy. The best part was the old clawfoot bathtub. It was wonderful after biking the Katy Trail in the cold wind. If you are on a budget, you can bring along your own snacks and use the common room and fridge for a light supper. We recommend the live jazz at the Rocheport General Store on Friday and Saturday nights - it is also a hidden treasure. The breakfast at the inn was delicious and inkeeper also inquired about dietary restrictions - nice. Warm cookies at check in too. Everything was wonderful and we plan to return for a night away from home.

We celebrated our anniversary in December and enjoyed a relaxing time. We stayed in the Teacher's Pet room and it was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. The owners are very attentive to every detail and responsive to every need. The breakfast was fantastic. The town is very quaint and the people are very friendly.

My husband and I stayed once again at this wonderful B&B. We chose to celebrate our 29th anniversary there. Mike and Lisa are great! We stayed in the Schoolmarm. What a comfortable bed! We love it here!
