I got this for less than $45 (including tax) as a 'secret hotel' on travelocity.com.

Then I read the tripadvisor reviews and got worried, but everything turned out ok.

The breakfast buffet was great. They constantly replenished the food, and there was a waffle-making machine.

In total it was a great value. Book via "secret hotel" online.

The first floor room smelled a little moist/moldy.

A/C didn't work. Had to request room change at midnight! Dirty room. Trash in trash cans in both of our "clean rooms". Someone else's room and drink left in our refrigerator. NOTHING in fitness room worked. No a/c in breakfast area and everyone sweating during breakfast. Key card did not work every time I left the building and returned; it had to be reset and the front desk clerk did not even ask for ID, etc to reset the key to the room that I requested!

Staff was very courteous and the free breakfast was good but that's about where the good stuff stops. The exterior entry door we wanted to use did not have a knob or handle--it was missing. It could be opened from the inside only. It was a very noisy hotel with doors slamming and hallway voices and yells easily heard in the room. The outside base of the toilet bowl was very dirty. The rooms were smaller than usual. Read in another review that this used to be a Baymont Inn so maybe that accounts for the small rooms. When checking out I mentioned the above to the desk clerk and he apologized and gave us the night for free.

It was very inexpensive for a Hotel. We were nervous and pleasantly suprised. Clean and friendly service. About 10 mins from Downtown.
