A friend and I were looking for a reasonable priced hotel for a weekend trip to K.C. After reading several reviews here, I selected this Comfort Inn.

Our priorities were price, location, and cleanliness. This hotel was fairly convenient to area tourist attractions -- we had to trade a wee bit of convenience for a reasonably priced hotel. It's in a suburban location that offers free parking.

The rooms were clean, the desk clerk friendly, the free breakfast provided enough of the usual choices to make most people happy -- juice, fruit, yogurt, bagels, eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, millk, etc. If you want something else or something fancier, there's a Perkins next door, across the parking lot. A very short walk away.

The room was spacious enough. The area was quiet. Not a fancy place, but definitely a good choice for a more budget friendly hotel.

The parking lot was a little weird to get in...you pull in by the Home Depot, then a couple of funky turns. It's like the hotel was just dropped in there without much thought. But there wasn't any traffic to get to the hotel, and coming out was more direct. There's also an Aldi's next door across the parking lot.

I think there were only 4 businesses in this little shopping center -- the hotel, Home Depot, Aldi's and Perkins.

Kansas City is pretty spread out. For a leisure traveler, if you're going to have a car and plan to visit places throughout the area ....Independence, Crown Center, Country Club Plaza, etc. This hotel location is acceptable and safe.

If you need access to a business center, ie a computer to check your email, there was none.

They did have free newspapers, a pool, and each room had a refrigerator and microwave.

I would definitely stay here again.

My Mom and I stayed at this hotel while visiting friends who live in Lee's Summit. It is situated right off the main highway, which was convenient, yet we experienced no problems with road noise. The staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early, and our room was super clean and the beds comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no exercise room, yet not surprised. There is a pool, but we did not have the chance to use it. In room coffeemaker and hairdryer; always a nice touch! The one thing that surprised me was that while indeed the hotel only had two floors, there was no elevator! I don't remember ever staying in an indoor-corridor hotel that had no elevator. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband is a stroke survivor and to have showers easy in and out is very important. Need good bars and this motel had all of that. Also a good high rise toilet. Some motels have very poor handicap accessible showers and low toilets. This was the best if not one of the best we have been in and we have been in quite a few. The room was clean, the bed was good and the personnel was very helpful.

My buddy and I stayed here for the price and because it was less than a mile from our friend's house that we were visiting. I didn't really expect much, but it turned out pretty nice. It is by no means a 5 star hotel, but as far as , it was a gr1 star hotels go, it was great.
The rooms are about average sized but clean and the beds were comfortable. Not that we needed them, but our room had an iron/board, coffee pot and hairdryer. I'm embarrassed to admit that I had difficulty turning the shower on, but I eventually figured it out.
It was a bit noisy because there was a large group of high school kids here for a wrestling tournament, but tolerable. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and there's a Perkins across the parking lot. The rooms have wireless internet and the staff was friendly.
