My wife and I have stayed here for years. We arer RCI members. On a recent visit there, we had a wonderful housekeeper, a little black lady that worked so hard to take care of her part. My wife and I went for a walk and to get ice. While going past a couple of housekeepers, we overheard one of them make a racial slur about our little housekeeper. I have since complained to the management and have now found out that they have not done anything to resolve this issue and that our housekeeper quit when this occured. The rooms are run down and need repair, they are over-priced for as old as they are. But the housekeepers do try their best for what they have to work with. We know the housekeeper that made this racial remark is named Carol as we heard another houskeeper tell her that she shouldn't say things like that. By the expression in her voice, we could tell that she was not happy about what this Carol lady said. My wife and I continued past them and talked about it at sojme length when we fot to our room. We recently contacted our friends that live in the area that we visit with and they found out for us that this Carol is still in their employment and that the young black lady is still no longer there. After contacting the motel's management, they assured me that this matter weould be dealt with. I am so very appalled and dissappointed at the lack of leadership at this establishment now. If you are wondering, my wife and I ARE white. I have been a business owner for many years and would never allow anything as this to go on for as long as Kimberling Inn has and to basically turn their backs on this issue. Evidently this business lacks any type of formal human resources or have a very badly trained management staff. It is a shame that they have allowed this type of behavior to be tolerated. We will NEVER EVER stay there again!! AND YES!!!! They do have spiders. I can certainly tell by these reviews which ones were written by staff members. This establishment caters to many different events throughout the year such as FLW, a quilters convention, and even a black fishing organization. I wish I knew the name of it. I have email corrospondence betweeen myself and the management of this place, if anyone would wish for me to forward it to them, I will so that EVERYONE can see that this is a legitimate complaint. This lady named Connie is the one that I have been emailing and she emailed me back and stated that they have had problems with this Carol in the past on different occassions and is a hard employee for everyone to get along with.

This "resort" is anything but. Our accommodations were just 2 old motel rooms put together. 70's decor, old and musty smelling, kitchen consisted of a small refrigerator, a microwave that only had a timer switch. The dishwasher looked fairly new & worked well. The lighting fixtures in the bedrooms were "garage floodlights". Only one double bed in each bedroom - who has them anymore except bottom priced motels. We would be charged for clean sheets mid-week, and for someone to vacuum our rooms, we passed on those offers. We were given 2 pillowcases to strip the beds & put the sheets in before we left. The description said there were 3 on-site restaurants, but we could only find one, and it had out-of-sight prices. There were a couple of up-sides, they could give discount admissions for the Branson and Silver Dollar City attractions.The location was good, very quiet. We were there on a timeshare trade, and we suspect that those customers are given the bottom of the barrel rooms - we looked in a couple of other rooms that were being cleaned, and they were much more attractive.

My husband and children and I have been to Branson more than 10 times in the past 15 years. We love to spend a week and do Branson shows, shopping and SDC. This year we stayed at the Kiberling Inn. We had a two bedroom condo. Granted it does need some updating but money is tight for all right now. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was very helpful when we needed anything. Never saw a spider, but the panaramic views of Table Rock Lake at sunrise and sunset were incredible. Husband and kids walked right down and fished right from the dock and shoreline. Walked to two eating places right on the resort. One sits right near the lake. We already booked a week for next year.

This property was old and and outdated. The condo unit looks like something out if the 80's the wall paper was peeling off walls, the floor tile was cracked and had several holes. However it looked as the carpet liked it had replaced and farely new. The daily rates were way over priced for age and appearance of condo units both inside and out. The staff was friendly and polite. Would not recommend this property to anyone.
