We were in Kansas City area for the weekend and just decided to wing it on finding a hotel. We called about 15 minutes in advance on a Saturday to make sure they had a king rooom. The lady on the phone was super nice and helpful. It was one of the speediest check ins that we've ever had. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We are use to sleeping on a temperpedic, so the bed be comfortable says a lot, either that or we were exhaused. The free hot breakfast was good and the area very clean. We would stay here again. I almost forgot to mention the price! Pricing was great with my AAA discount it was 71.99, taxes were a little much, I believe it was $85 by the time those were tacked on, but all in all still a good value!

Kick-back = hot food & drinks at 5:30, a hot tub, guest laundry, comfy beds, 37" flat screen, large desk with free internet, a recliner chair. AND a frig & micro too! Of course, soaps & shampoo. Can't wait to see what is for breakfast tomorrow. We won't have to leave the property all weekend - yeah!

These are greatly appreciated goodies not often found at other brands -- especially on our CLC rate.

For our first stay, we are impressed and we'll be looking for Drury Inns as we travel the heartland of the US.

We spent one night at the Drury Inn Kansas City airport. We are two seniors and a boxer. Our king deluxe room was clean and roomy. My husband thought the recliner was really comfortable. There was a microwave and a fridge. For "Kickback" they had hot dogs, chicken nuggets, nachos, salad, carrot sticks, celery and chips. For breakfast, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, cereal (cold plus oatmeal), juice and pastries. Had a workout room and indoor pool, but didn't use, nor saw anyone else using. We are just staritng to travel with our furkid and really appreciated such a nice hotel that was a good value, as well as pet-friendly.

I am a fan of Drury Hotels. They are good value and sometimes the hotels are historic and charming. If I was to compare this hotel to the Plaza or even the Drury in San Antonio, I would not give it 5 stars, because basically this hotel is clean and comfortable, but it is still an airport hotel. However, I gave it 5 stars, solely because of the staff. I have never met a friendlier bunch of people who go out of their way to meet the needs of the guests. The customer service here stood shoulders above just about any hotel I've ever stayed at. Everyone was so helpful that I can't single anyone out. I am sold on Drury Hotels, especially this one. Join the free Gold Key Club - it is so worth it.
