“Not Bad At All”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

When going somewhere I always use Trip Advisor. I was a little leery when I read the reviews on here. They seemed to cover every end of the spectrum. However, I had initially planned on taking my small dog and they seemed to be the most pet friendly hotel in the area.
When we arrived I was impressed. They place did look like a small apartment complex but the front lobby/breakfast area/front desk area was very clean and set up very nice. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet, informative, and quick. When we got to the room it was everything I had hoped for. Yes the sidewalks and wooden decks could use a little work but the room was very nice. We had a full kitchen (complete with fridge that had ice maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and coffepot), very nice sitting area with fireplace (bring your own logs), very comfortable bed and linens, and a nice bathroom area. One reviewer had said there was no outlet for the blowdryer but there was one, it was just behind the towels. About two hours after we checked in we recieved a call from the front desk asking if we liked our room and if there was anything we needed. That is an example of great customer service! We slept very good the first night. The breakfast was wonderful! There was the normal continental breakfast fare with oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, english muffins, etc. There was also a pancake station where the kitchen attendent could make you fresh waffles. There was also healthy choices, which pleased me very much, such as yogurt, granola, and fruit. We didn't spend much time in our room on Saturday but we did use the kitchen Friday night. Saturday night we went out to eat (New Year's Eve) and then retired to our room to watch television. We fell asleep about eleven, yes we are boring), and were woken up about 12:30am by very load teenagers/college kids that were partying the next building over. I called the front desk and Michelle said she was the only one there but she would take care of it. We eventually fell back to sleep and were woken up again by the same party at 2:30. This time we weren't happy at all. But another call to Michelle and the party was busted up. I felt really bad for her and whoever had to clean the outside area because the partiers had left quite a mess of beer bottles, cigarette butts, cigarette boxes, Red Bull cans, and vomit.
All in all, very worth the money we spent on the room, which was a half price sale. I probably wouldn't pay the full $130 a night but would go again for the price we paid. It was very close to shopping, entertainment, and dining.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with fireplace for ambience. Take dishsoap if planning on using kitchen!

“FIRE PLACE...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

Hotel is lovely, little town houses. Rooms clean, bed was comfortable, tv service
adequate . The room made you not wanna leave, had a private balcony, living room area with a fireplace (fully functioning). The kitchen came fully equipped with pans, dishes, glasses. It is possible I ddon't get out much, but I so loved this hotel and will stay again.

Room Tip: chose a room close to the gazebo

“Girlfriend sleepover”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

There were 5 of us girlfriends staying together. We liked our stay and might be back again as we go on sleepover's a couple times a year, and it was a really good deal for the money. Only $26 each. It was nice, clean, and the beds comfortable. But...we would really would have liked to see the hot tub open (they said it's only open in the summer - we always thought of it as more of a spring, fall, and winter thing to do), a DVD player available as we wanted to watch a "chick flick" (we were told that in other locations that this is avaible put not this one?), and a larger coffee maker since we all drink coffee and had to keep making more and more pots in order for us all to have some (10 or 12 cups would have been a LOT better). We stayed there as a girlfrend sleepover and our plans included watching a movie and getting in the hot tub...so we were really disappointed that neither one was available for us. The breakfast was so-so, not a lot of variety...but it was ok. We did like how close it is to Zona Rosa and the interstate, so all in all we liked it well enough.

“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

Stayed here on business and was pleasently surprised when opening the door, it was a large studio apartment with everything needed. The breakfast offeres was sufficient and always plentiful. I would say you would need a car when staying here, althought they do run a free airport shuttle.

“A Nice Hotel But...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

My family spent a night at this Hotel on Friday November 12th. The location was great. Close to airport, shopping, expressway and restaurants. The room was a duplex 2 bedroom. It was a little dated but nice. 1st floor had a living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The 2nd floor had the 2nd bedroom and a bathroom. They had a business center which was convenient for printing airline tickets. They had other amenities like a pool which we did not have time to use. The breakfast had a nice selection of cereals, breads, juices, coffees, pancakes and more. I would have given this place 4 stars, but ...

When I was going to bed, I pulled back the comforter and their was a blood stain on the comforter. I went to the lobby and asked if someone could come up and change the bedding. The lady at the counter was polite, but she said she was the only one available and could not leave the front desk. She gave me another comforter, but it did not feel right having to change the bedding on my own. It was pretty gross. I would have felt better if they gave me another room. I felt sorry for the lady at the front counter, because the company should provide her with more help. The complex is pretty big.
I think this Hotel could be a 4 star, but after my experience I won't be back.
