I just had the unique pleasure of staying at the Q Hotel for a week long Ambulance Service Manager class, and I think I speak for all 39 of us in the group when I say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. Miss Rita, Reggie, and Eugene were all standouts. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I interacted with, without exception they were all outstanding. The rooms were bright and clean, the lounge was a wonderful gathering place for us, and we never once had a need that wasn't attended to. I personally look forward to coming back for our second week in March, and making this my hotel of choice for any future trips to KC.

Staying in Kansas City for a business conference, Wednesday through Sunday. Front desk and check-in seemed very organized, went smoothly and quickly. With the line of people in front of us it only took a couple minutes for us to register and be checked-in. This amidst the swarm of people enjoying the happy hour at the bar right next to the front desk. We found our room to be spotless and very well organized. Returning to the bar for happy hour, we found the bartender, Brandi, to be superbly cordial and expeditious. Much to our surprise, happy hour for guests provided two free drinks, of which included most of the bar, and even the premium beer on tap. The following morning found us enjoying a complimentary breakfast, which included an omelet cooked to order, a fresh waffle, and this among the usual, coffee, cereal, bagel, toast, and juices normally expected. We found the breakfast staff to be cordial and eagerly serving all of our needs. This true, even through the unusual rush of people we found on Sunday morning. The Q advertised shuttle services, and we found the shuttle service to be accomodating our every need. With many different drivers, we were transported throughout the day and evening to and from every destination in a fast and safe manner. Where possible, they made use of the Toyota hybrid car. The location of The Q places is within two blocks of several dining choices, bars and pubs, and a large grocery chain store, and a large well-equipped gym. The staff was complety accomodating. And, upon tipping the staff, we found ourselves awarded special treatment above and beyond the normal expectations. We will be using this facility again in the future !

I booked a room directly with the hotel and got what I considered value for the location and property. I found the rooms clean, modern, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast service was exemplary.

The true standout of this stay was the staff. The front desk staff were polite and courteous, and even the housekeeping staff greeted you in a frendly and cheerful manner when you walked down the hall.

I took advantage of a shuttle service to the hospital, and Candy the driver was great.

Upon checkout, there was a misunderstanding about the rate I booked, and Shawn, the general manager could sense my frustration with this since I booked directly with the hotel. He ensured the misunderstanding was taken care of to my satisfaction, and I left a satisfied customer who will be happy to stay again.

Very nice property, outstanding service, what more could you ask for.
