Stayed at the Wakika for 11 nights. Central location downtown, and only a 2 min walk from the beach. Tessa was a great property manager, she helped me out with finding a surfboard and even dropped of a couple bottles of wine off during our stay. You get housekeeping every 2 days and they do an amazing job. The rooms are totally safe and secure. There is a set of stairs by the side of the ice cream shop to get up to the rental rooms, so the family running the ice cream shop always sees who is coming and going. The noise from the streets in the morning and the music from Bar Don Patos can be a little loud at times. But everyone who stays around the town center says the same thing. But the a/c is usually enough the drown it out. Would defineltly stay again. Oh and make sure you go to the Wakika ice cream stand, i was going usually twice a day for popsicles!
