A quiet Norwegian Hotel with genuinely helpful and friendly staff. The Food is excellent (I did a commercial catering qual a few years ago). The Breakfast buffet has quite a variety (all the kids in the hotel and I particularly liked the waffel maker at breakfast). The atmosphere encourages you to feel part of the hotel rather than a product being processed.

We arrived at the station (bus & train combined) attempted to hire a taxi only to be told the Hotel was just through the E6 underpass past the ice sculpture of the troll (a regular feature, weather permitting we believe) behind the supermarket. Ski passes were waiting for us at the desk on arrival.

The hotel is on the road up to the Ski slope approx 500m away (the local kids ski down the side of the road to 100m away)

Having looked round town at the competition. We would have no hesitation in booking here again and intend to do so.
