I happened to be spending a few days in the surrounding areas on Missouri. I do not think we could have found a better place to stay. The proprietors, Barbara and Jack, are incredibly welcoming folks, and truly open their B&B home to guests. The place sits on about 80 acres of land and provides a background for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are very well appointed, and it truly feels like one is staying "at home". Breakfast was great, and one is afforded a tremendous amount of privacy at Windstone. If you are in the area, this is truly a gem and incredible value.

I spent 2 days of blissful peace. I was in serious need of down-time and found just what I needed at Windstone House. The accomodations were excellent with a mizermizing view from my room and of course the breakfast was outstanding to say the least. Jack & Barbara were just like family and treated me the same. I even got to talk about Art with a fellow artist (Barbara). I will try to get back this way again and would recomend it highly. I felt like a new person when I got home. Thanks Guys! Catherine
