“Great place to stay!”

My husband and I stayed at the Tradition Inn from January to June. The employees ,including management, we're very accomodating and professional. The house keeping staff were friendly, trust worthy and did a great job. We travel quite a bit with our jobs and this place has ranked #1 in our book. We hope to be able to visit them soon. If you're visiting Farmington, you must stay here. You will really enjoy your stay.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

After reading it's reviews, I was very skeptical about staying at the Tradition Inn, but am very glad I did. My colleague and I stayed in one of the renovated rooms upstairs. They were the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on at a hotel. The water pressure was great in the shower and it was very convenient having free wi-fi. The breakfast was nice and the woman running it was incredibly sweet. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean. I will be staying here for all future visits to Farmington and recommend that you do as well.

I was on a trip to visit my father, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I stayed up stairs in one of the renovated rooms, and it was super nice! the pool was also great, and being next to Spokes was great.

“How Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2010

Our family, which included 2 brothers and sister from out of town and their families, including young grandchildren (all totalling around 20) met there for the yearly visit together. Could not have been better taken care of! The staff was more than helpful and friendly, the rooms super clean and very well cared for - first time I have ever gone barefoot in a hotel room, it was so clean. The kids spent over 5 hrs one day and 7 hr the next in the pool with adults visiting around the sides and the staff couldn't have been better or more tolerant and friendly to all of us. They have a super continental breakfast, a restaurant on site, free popcorn in the evenings, washers & dryers for your own use, an exercise room and shuttle service to the neighboring wineries. They had lots of adminities available also, some to rent, such as refrigerators, roll away beds, and others like cribs free. Extra towels were available even for the pool. Planning to meet there again next year!

“It's actually terrific -- here's the scoop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2010

Okay, everyone. Here's the scoop on the Tradition Inn. It's an absolutely fantastic motel, but you just need to ask for one of the renovated rooms. It's in the middle of a major renovation, and I believe all the second-floor rooms are all renovated (perhaps some lower-level rooms too). It's a really great place with a nice breakfast included, featuring fresh apple and grape juice from local orchards and vineyards. I ALWAYS stay here when visiting family in Farmington. It's the best place in town by far -- for a reasonable price. Bring your bike and ride from the hotel on wonderful 20-mile loop including 13 miles of paved trail through St. Joe Park. Just take Maple Valley Drive north to Maple Street. Go left (west) on Maple Street to cross Highway 67. Keep going straight and ride up a very challenging 24-percent hill. After the hill, veer to the right at the stop sign. You'll head right toward the trailhead. Take the spur trail to the loop, and I recommend going counter-clockwise around this fantastic loop through the park. Take another spur to visit the Missouri Mines State Historical Park: http://www.mostateparks.com/momines.htm. There are restrooms and some water sources along trail, but take at least one water bottle to be comfortable. By the way, this is a portion of the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail, so you might see some touring cyclists from all over the world! It's absolutely fantastic, like many tourist attractions in this wonderful area of Missouri!
