I stay at this motel for 5 nights at a time while I work here in El Dorado Springs. Gary is fantastic and makes sure you feel at home. The rooms are clean and have refrigerators, microwaves, and flat screen TVs. At around $50 per night, this is a great value.

My son was playing in a baseball tournament in Nevada, Missouri and this was only about a 20 minutes drive to the ballpark. Gary, the gentleman that runs this hotel could not have been more accomodating. He made sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed visiting with him. The rooms were nice, flat screen tv with satellite, refrigerator, and microwave and free wifi in the rooms. There were several families that stayed here and we enjoyed grilling and visiting in the courtyard. For a minimal fee we had access to a washer and dryer which was very convenient to wash uniforms. There are 2 grocery stores with in 10 minutes of the property. There is not a swimming pool at this property, but you are only 30 minutes from Stockton Lake and there is a public pool close to downtown. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. This a clean basic "motel" that satisfied our needs. We stayed 4 nights and I would recommend this property.

Every summer we descend upon El Dorado Springs, MO for the annual Founders Day Picnic or "The PICNIC". This summer was no different except with more family in for our reunion, we stayed at the C&H hotel on 54 Highway.
There are only two hotels to choose from in Eldo. We chose the one with the greater longevity. As you can see from the pics there needs to be some maintenance done on the room we were in.
Sheets had tears in them, bedspread had cig burns in it... even though it was a non-smoking room. Sink had rust spots so large that the sink bowl is definitely in need of replacing.
However.. for $49 a night, what do you expect? Pros: the A/C although an older unit was in perfect operation. Room was nice and cool. There was a brand new larger refridgerator and microwave. Bathroom was clean and looked to be rennovated.
So, a few things to improve on are easily fixable... being new linens, duvets/comforters would be nice and thicker/more absorbent towels. New blankets and more pillows would be nice. This hotel has so much potential to being a really cool retro place. I wouldnt have any trouble staying there again... however check the bedding/towel situation.
