As a trainer for my company, I travel to many different areas of the U.S. Hotel after hotel, regardless of the name outside, there all the same, a hotel. Fortunately, when it came time to do a training in Cape Girardeau, there was a big convention in town and there wasn't hotel that had a meeting room available. Fortuntately, our event coordinator found The Rose Bed Inn.

This isn't your typical B & B. They have a wonderful meeting hall and the food that James prepared was second to none! I admit that I'm a bit of a foodie (food snob). OMGoodness! I only wish they were closer to me in Texas, because I would love to have my family reunions here. They even picked me up from the airport and get this, took me back to the airport at 5 a.m., without any extra charge! The world is changing and customer service isn't what it used to be. I'm here to tell you, it's alive and well at The Rose Bed Inn.
Anytime I'm ever in or around Cape Girardeau, whether for business or pleasure, you better believe I'll be staying at the Rose Bed Inn. Hotels are fine, but when I stay at The Rose Bed Inn, it's like I'm with family, because Eldon and James treat you as if they've known you for years.

Smelly, unclean, horrible location, unprofessional owners.......worst place I have ever stayed.

Proprietors were friendly. Breakfast consisted of yoghurt, muffins, cereal, custom omelets, sausage and toast. Out door garden looked inviting, but the weather was too cold to enjoy. Nice extras, such as packaged toothbrushes and razors that went beyond the norm but other things not complete, such as lack of creamer for coffee. Room was dirty; particles on the carpet, paint chips on the bath floor and stove inspection tag on floor. Some things were in disrepair, such as unpainted base board sections, poorly installed shower tile. Curtains had small rips. Window treatments did not keep street lighting from interfering with sleep. No place to put suitcases or to hang clothing. Outside walkways were not swept. Lots of potential in this little place, but not worth the monies we paid for what we got.

" The Rose Bed Inn was absolutely Stunning", The Decor and detail of each individual Room had such amazing detail with such art and beauty. The hospitality of the owner's of the Rose Bed In Eldon and James was out of this world and made you feel as if you were at home. The Rose Bed Inn is a home away from home and will continue to stay every chance I get at this establishment
