Pros-
Nice from counter staff.
Nice indoor pool area. Lots of people using, (I was not not one of them.)
Easy I35 on/off. Lots of gas stations and fast food in the area.
Room was clean.
Continental breakfast included eggs (or reasonable facsimile), and sausage. I.E., some protein.
Good hotel for road trip layover. Not a destination.
Cons-
I hate the A/C units that when the desired temp is reached, the unit shuts off. I use these units to drown out the sounds of the other guests and outside noises.
Use te waterslide and you have the gestopo watching and telling what you can do. Pool hours are to short. Ants all over our room. The internet connection is extremely slow. Could not even download my mail. I called for technical help and the outside service said oh this hotel only has a residential band with and as many as 30 on it.
Staff were rude, inconsiderate and the hotel itself was not anything to write home about. Very unhappy customer!
I made the reservation a week before and even called the day before to double check our reservation. Not once did anyone mention that there was problems with the hot tub. It was not until we checked in (and had already paid) that we were informed....Oh by the way, our hot tub has been on the fritz for a few weeks and is not working tonite.......REALLY! Couldn't someone have told me this a week ago so I could make reservations ELSEWHERE for this first nite stay on our honeymoon trip! I will never go back to this hotel considering this dishonest business practice!
Side note, the pool is VERY small and the slide as well. It didn't look like any place my childern would enjoy!
