We wanted to avoid the prices and traffic of Kansas City and so drove about 1/2 hr north of the end of the city into Cameron. The motel is located a bit off of I-35 on the business route of I-35, which is an appealing main street of the tiny community. The motel is small and accessible, with quick and helpful front-desk service. The price was very reasonable (just over $50/night). The room was small but well-tended and clean - no bad smells. There was a refrigerator within the room. The price also included a free buffet breakfast that was exactly what you get in hotels that charge $100/night. We loved the lack of hassle and the great deal!

I have stayed at this motel for several year's and usually for leisure purposes. The last year or so I have noticed a great improvement in the upgrade's, in particular the bathrooms and shower facilities.
The staff there has alway's gone out of there way to be friendly and helpful. It is not the newest motel on the block, but the room's are clean and quite.

We were on the last leg of our trip and had just had a bad experience with the Travelodge in Dodge City. Since we had been burned once, we were leary of staying at another motel, but then we had had a good stay at the Colonial Motel in Oklahoma, so we decided to try the Econo Lodge in Cameron Missouri at 220 East Grand. We were impressed from the beginning.

From the beautiful redwood Cazebo, deck walk and fencing that surrounded the beautiful pool to the clean and comfortable rooms, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything worked...air, refrigerator, microwave, etc and all at great budget rates.

The Internet was easy, safe and fast. We were definitely happy campers.
