Our room was clean and comfortable, reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly. Indoor pool was good-sized and fun for our kids. Breakfast was average but free, so that was great for the kids. However, the hotel is not non-smoking throughout. Even though we had a non-smoking room, our room was right next door to a smoking room. The entire floor (floor 4) was that way, with smoking rooms mixed in with non-smoking. The cigarette smoke was very heavy at times (presumably when our neighbors were in their room and smoking) and very overpowering in our room. It wasn't a pleasant way to fall asleep, smelling smoke all night. And to wake up to it was worse. I'm not sure why non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms would be so close together, but it was not a good experience for us in that respect. If the hotel was non-smoking, it would have been a great stay all around.

This is the place to stay..We were tired, and needed a quiet
peaceful place to spend the night..We drove passed,and
turned around as it looked so inviting... What a perfect
decision we made..Beautiful setting,..Lovely breakfast..CLEAN
rooms..Staff was more than Helpful and Very Nice
Talked with another lady that said she was in this area
every two weeks and always stayed there...We definately
will be a return client..
In a way I felt we were in a Country Inn instead of a Hotel

Worked in the area- was a good sleep for a couple days. Claims is award-winning .... am not sure about THAT but was clean and well-maintained. Not too many restaurants nearby and a VERY small, tight parking lot.

Would stay again if in the area.

When I commented on size of our room to the Front Desk gal, she said "I've got another one even bigger than yours". But even more important, we had everything we needed with the exception of a big enough freezer to re-freeze our blue ice. Oh well, not the 1st time this has happened. When I opened the curtain in the morning, the scene was a large forest vista. Beautiful ! And the sunrise over the woods was absolutely gorgeaus. People we passed in the hallways were without exception very friendly - greeting us as we passed. Don't know if these people were locals or other guests ?? But my husband even commented on this
