“Great Room, Great Price”

My wife and I had the privilege to book a unit in the Chalet while they were still available. Ours was a one bedroom, one bath unit with a massive jacuzzi tub in a window that looked into the trees of the Ozark Mountains. It was great and very private. The unit also had its own deck, great for relaxing. The full kitchen made preparing meals for our 4-night stay a breeze, and it was stocked with most every utensil we needed. The King size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the big screen T.V. in the living room was great to watch while snuggled up on one of the two overstuffed sofas. The Bradford on the Lake also had two outdoor pools available. We used the pool on the back patio of the property. The water was great, and the patio overlooked Table Rock Lake. You could watch the sunset from the hot tub every evening. Beautiful! We had a very relaxing time and feel that couples traveling can enjoy this location as much or more than families traveling with children. We'll definitely stay again.

  • Liked — Quality and Rate.
  • Disliked — Our kitchen was missing an appropriately sized skillet for one meal we prepared. But it was no big deal, the staff secured what we needed in just 5 minutes.

“Would not stay here again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2007

It looks ok from the outside. Our room was outdated - but worse than that, it was not clean. The room has a musty smell and the bathroom flooring looks like there had been a bad leak or something had spilled on it and stained it. If it had not been 11:30 at night and we had not traveled all day, I would not have stayed there. The pull out couch was falling apart and dirty. Based upon the room that we stayed in, my experience was that the hotel was not in good repair and did not look or feel clean.

I value any and all input from our guests. I personally address guest concerns while they are here. I endeavor to run a clean, family friendly, affordable place that my family would enjoy staying at while traveling. As a small family run property, we appreciate guest comments and do our best to correct any issues immediately.

“Not bad for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2007

My family and I spent two nights at Bradford on the Lake. The staff was very friendly. We stayed in the family room #101, it was very nice and had lots of room. The hotel is just down the street from Silver Dollar City. We were a little disappointed though. The placed looked run down and the game room/fitness center was very dirty and a joke. They told us they would have donuts in the morning, but when we went to the office at 7:30 am, it was still locked and nobody was there. We had a okay time and the price was right, but we won't stay there again.

“just ok”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2007

We just returned from a Memorial Weekend stay at Bradford on the Lake. It was adequate but disappointing. We booked a lodge room that showed four poster beds in the picture. That's not what was in the room. They cover themselves by saying that rooms are continually redecorated therefore a room can be different from pictured. The quality of the bed was above average but there were ants in the room. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn't have time to use them. Oh, and the continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee, cold cereal, skim milk, orange juice and tiny powdered sugar donuts. We were planning to go to the Bradford Inn (a sister property) in September, but we may rethink that.

Thank you for your comments. I wish you would have had time to enjoy our beautiful pool and hot tub, with their gorgeous view of Table Rock lake. Thanks for noticing the special attention we take in selecting our mattresses and bedding. We offer the same exceptional bedding at all three of our locations. Both our Bradford Inn and Bradford House locations include a hot specialty breakfast each morning.

“Great Place for Family Reunions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 July 2005

Bradford on the Lake was the site chosen for our family reunion for 2005. In order to accommodate everyone (51 attended), we rented the Lakehouse, Log Home and several individual rooms. All facilities were extremely clean and any special requests we had were soon fulfilled. Greg, the manager, was a great source of information for anything we needed during our visit. Because of the layout of the resort, we felt like we had privacy and at the same time the convenience of pools and Table Rock Lake. The resort is far enough from Branson (10-15 minutes) to avoid the traffic congestions, but close enough to enjoy tourist attractions. Silver Dollar City was a very short drive (less than 5 minutes)!. Many surrounding marinas rent jet skis, pontoon and ski boats. A small grocery store nearby made forgotten purchases very easy. Many family members plan to return later this fall for a long weekend. If you are looking for comfort and laid-back fun, Bradford on the Lake Resort is the place you are looking for.
