We went for a getaway for a night and stayed at the kite house! Donel and Mark were wonderful inn keepers! Beds and pillows very comfortable and hot tub on a cold night was awesome and so relaxing. Would recommend to friends definitely!

We just returned from a week in Branson, Missouri. We really enjoyed the shows and the College of the Ozarks. The Kite House was one of the nicest place I had ever stayed at. The rooms were nicely decorated with antiques and even a bearskin rug in the room my wife, Sue and I stayed in. The full breakfasts were delicious and served with a style you would see on the food network. I really enjoyed the breakfast and made me feel I was back in Mayberry as in the Old Andy Griffith TV show. Donel and her husband were great hosts and very friendly. Ourselves and the other two couples we stayed with felt like we were part of the family. I would highly recommend this B and B to anyone wanting to have a great breakfast and a fine place to stay away from downtown Branson.

Kite House is the best B&B I have ever visited. The comfort and country ambience was great...Even my husband liked it. .... Wonderful breakfasts....Donel & Mark were great hosts....We'll be back...And don't forget to dine at least once at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, which is about 10 minutes away. No Branson traffic amd commotion, but you're just a few minutes away from the Landing...!

Just returned from spending a week with friends at this wonderful BnB. We were 3 couples , so we had the whole cottage. The rooms were clean, comfy, and decorated with antiques. The rooms had a fireplace and nice fluffy, warm robes. It was too cold for the hottubs, but the jacuzzi tub was nice. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes from the strip. There is a nice Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Donel and Mark are the best hosts. They are warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Donel made breakfast earlier on 2 mornings when we needed to be out before 10am. Her breakfasts are delicious and creative, especially her quiche and fruit topped french toast. Forget your diet. She has cute pets, too. You'll love Ruthie and "scratching the door" Shadow. Mark is the bass singer in The New South Quartet Show at the Grand Country Jubilee Hall.You can't miss the billboards all around town. We enjoyed hearing his DEEP voice in the show.
We were sad to leave because we had so much fun and enjoyed getting to know our hosts.We had a blast and many memories to cherish and 2 new friends. check it out. You will love it.
