We stayed at this hotel for a family funeral. Needless to say, in our traveling with a small child, we had a lot of belongings. Unfortunately, we left our digital camera there. We did not realize until 3 weeks later. Well, the housekeepers stole our camera. After speaking with the housekeeping supervisor, we were told that there is a 30 day policy before the workers can take their "findings" home. We called before the 30 days were up and our camera was already in the posession of an employee at home. We had family members that love nearby to try and get it back. Well, we FINALLY get the camera in a family member's hands and the camera is broken, all 700+ pictures have been deleted, and we are not getting any answers. After finally demanding to speak with the owner, we were told that it is a 90 day policy, not 30 days as said by the supervisor. The owner compensated us for the camera. To our dismay, after it was apparent the the employee would not be reprimanded, the owner basically said that it was hard to find "good help" and she had been there for some time. Best Wester Internation was a big waste of time also. We are a family that travels A LOT, both domestic and international. WE WILL NEVER STAY WITH BEST WESTERN again. I would advise the same. If you do, don't mistakenly leave ANYTHING behind. What a bunch of thieves?????

House keeper did not take the camera. The camera was forgotten by the guest. Per our hotel policy, we kept the camera in the storage for 30 days. After 30 days, hotel gave the camera to the housekeeper who had found the camera.
