Had a reservation for two rooms but was told when we arrived that we would have to stay at hotel back in town that was 3 or 4 miles. When we expresed our displeasure with this arrangement we were told the owner always overbooked the rooms. This is a terrible way to do custormers and we decided we would not stay and be so inconvienced.

Great place for a reunion, or any other large group gathering. They make it so easy, and everyone said it was the best reunion ever. Everything from the well-groomed grounds to the lunch buffet were excellent. Highly recommend it.

I stayed here for two nights while doing some work in the Louisville, MS area. We stayed in the hotel (as opposed to the cabins by the lake). The rooms were very nice and clean and contained all the usual amenities (coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer). There was no microwave, but that wasn't a problem since we were only there for a couple of days. The high speed internet was great - very reliable and fast. We stayed here during the off season (school had started), so the water park was closed during the week. Even though we didn't get to enjoy the water, we did get to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the trail around the lake. We didn't try the restaurant, but it was rumored to be quite good. The price for our stay was around 65/night - very reasonable. Don't go expecting super fancy rooms, but do go expecting clean rooms, a view of the lake, and great service.

We have held our Family Reunion at Lake Tiak-O'Khata since I think 2000, we have it every other year. There are over 30 family members and we stay approx 3 days. We have always had good service and enjoy the facilities.
