The room itself was adequate. The bed was clean. The tub was well worn and somewhat shabby but mostly clean. Ie., the bottom was stained and the access panel above the tub was rusted. In my kid's room, the underside of the soap dish was black with mold. The property in general was depressing. The pool was clean. The staff was friendly and the food was as described. It was convenient to shopping and restaurants but NOT walking distance to Chili's or Longhorn Steakhouse unless you are willing to CROSS I 55 and walk alongside the frontage road. There is all night security but I get the feeling it is necessary. It was just kind of creepy. I wouldn't have wanted to be a woman traveling alone.

Amazing rates!! GREAT ROOMS!! Super comfy bed and a great breakfast. Don't expect bacon and sausage, but they have cereal, milk, juice, coffee, muffins, fruit, boiled eggs, waffles, toast, jelly, butter...etc.....

Also, one of the mosty comfy beds I've been on in a hotel.

Clean linens, soft sheets and comforter... carpet in bed area, with tile in bathroom and vanity area. Coffee pot in room.. free WiFi and cable. Oh, they also have movies on demand if you want to pay and also video games for a fee if you want.

I read the reviews on this hotel but because our entire basketball team was staying here we decided to "roll the dice". And at first we thought we were going to be pleasantly suprised. The room looked nice. There was new carpet and what seemed to be a fresh paint job on the walls. However, when we reached the bathroom the ickyness started. There was hair everywhere... behind toilet, tub, floor, in sink. The bottom of the tub was stained a brownish yellow (at least I hope it was stained and not just dirty). There were cigarette burns on the side of the tub where someone had been smoking on the toilet. There was no curved shower curtain rod. The bath / vanity area was separate so the actual bath was very small. There was no door between the vanity area and the sleeping area. My husband called and asked them to clean the bathroom but if they ever did I could not tell it. My son looked behind the dresser and found a piece of cheese still in the wrapper. Also by the door we found a piece of bread crust. The bed coverings seemed to be faily new and was comfortable enough but the pillows were flat and hard. Some of the light fixtures did not work and all they had was cereal for breakfast. On a positive note the lady at the front dest was very pleasant as was the lady I spoke to when I made the reservation. We will not be coming back to this LaQuinta.

It was cheap for 2 rooms but you can do better. TV was not operating well. No tissues in the room. Hair on bathroom floor from previous occupant(s). Plus, we noticed some strange characters in the parking lot loitering around. Breakfast was a joke. We ate at the IHOP across the street and that was just as bad as the hotel. Don't eat there (IHOP) unless you want to wait for your food and surly service. And look for another hotel for sure.
