We stayed here so that I could be closer the Leland, Ms for a 5k race the next morning. Loacted on U.S. Hwy 82. 1/4 mile from Wal-Mart. The Huddle House is only one minute or two walking distance. The manager was very professional. Gave me direction to different places I've asked him about. The room had refrigerator, microwave. Nice King size bed. Be sure to ask for the code to log on to Super 8's High Speed Internet. I plan on stopping by the next time I have a 5k race in that area!

They misrepresented their location (extremely difficult to understand with their accent) and then had the audacity to charge a cancellation fee when we found out that they were 1000 miles away and tried to cancel the reservation.

Upon arrival we found that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, It was the suite with the jetted tub. I was a little disappointed that the jacuzzi was in the bathroom but that turned out to be okay because it also had a shower.

The free breakfast was okay for a little something. You could make your own waffles. I thought that was neat!!

There is a Huddle House next door and they had wonderful desserts for us late that night!!!

I would recommend a stay here especially if you plan on visiting the BB King Museum around the corner.

Wow...where to start.

This used to be a Holiday Inn Express and has decided to go in the opposite direction of the nice, clean, friendly image that chain has.

At $70.80 (including tax) this is in no way a good deal. We had booked to stay here for two nights. We checked in rather late at night and the owner/manager had messed up our reservation. He claimed we had messed it up !?!?!? We were supposed to be on the ground floor and he claimed there were no ground floor rooms available. The room he gave us on the second floor was filthy and disgusting. There were people in the hallway most of night making noise. The smell of curry permeated the air. I love curry but this was too much. The owner and his extended family live up there also. He was very rude and abrupt. When I got up I just happened to notice that there were 5 vacant rooms on the ground floor that I could see from the parking lot. I don't know why he would be so obtuse and treat us like this other than just because he can...He makes Basil Fawlty look friendly and professional.
The next morning a local who works first shift gave us a room on the ground floor, no problem at all, This nice young lady was the only bright spot of this stay.

The breakfast was pitiful and the pool was green. Yuck on both counts.
Before we left, luckily, I found out that he was planning on charging the credit card for both rooms, even though we had checked out of the 2nd floor room that morning.

The locals tell me that this is the best motel in town...wow.
