We were skeptical but when asked to see a room we were pleasantly surprised. Had to pay extra if we wanted two beds but it's one king or two doubles so if you are a couple then it's a great price. Room 117 was nice! but friends with us had to change rooms a few times because their first room didn't have sheets on the beds. The staff were helpful in that. Sone rooms have new furniture and beds others, not so new. Breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and a few muffins - but for the price... That's what you expect I guess

I had to stay here because we were stuck in a storm on our way to Destin. When we got here the bed was dirty and everything else was dirty. The coffee pot was black and we had to buy towels from Walmart to sleep on. The bathtub was brown. It was the most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed at. Also tried to get a refund but they wouldn't give us one. My advice never stay here. Sleep in your car, it's probably cleaner than this dump.

The personnel at the front desk was friendly. However, the quality of the hotel is not what I expected. They don't have hand towels and the quality of the towels was poor-the wash towel and bath towel were of thin terry cloth; as well as the bed linen. The room was old and in poor condition. They need to tear this hotel down and rebuild!

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews. However, was pleasantly surprised. The room I stayed in was newly renovated with new bedspreads, freshly painted walls, clean carpet and restrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite all of the reviews, I came on a business trip and decided to stay here and to judge for myself. There must be new management because it was nothing like these reviews at all.
For a great stay and reasonable price I suggest this place to others who would like to judge for themselves.
