Leroy Percy State Park is located in the Mississippi Delta 5 miles west of Hollandale,Ms off MS 12. This is the oldest state park in the state. It is also the only state park in Mississippi with a wildlife preserve. Hunting and fishing are available. However, no swimming is allowed in the river because of the alligator population. For 2 nights in late November,2011, my husband & I, along with another couple rented a duplex at the park. Our price per couple was $80.00 per night. Also for rent are 1 & 2 bedroom cabins (1 bath, full kitchen) with a fireplace, as well as central heat & air. Also available is a 40 person group camp, primitive campgrounds, and a meeting room for daytime use. Breakfast & lunch can be purchased if desired. Disk golf & volleyball can be enjoyed as well as hiking trails and a few items of playground equipment.

NOTE: This is really "Away From It All".....rustic,no phone service, no TV, no pool. Just enjoy family, friends, yourself, and the solitude!!!
