The counter clerk at this hotel was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was located very conveniently to our relatives residence. Lobby area very nice and well kept. The room was clean and good value for the price.The furnishings were above average We were there 4 nights. The only problem we encountered was an apparent misunderstanding on the part of the housekeeping staff. The second day of our stay our room was not cleaned at all. On the third day of our stay the room had been cleaned but the toilet paper which was almost gone had not been replaced and we had to request it. Each time we called the front desk they were very helpful and seemed to be a bit embarrassed. The management might want to review the way to clean the rooms so that the trash is emptied, dirty towels replaced and toilet paper is readily available. On the last night of our stay we were contacted by the front desk that due to water heater problems they would have to shut off the water from 7AM to 8:30AM. Needless to say this was inconvenient but bearable...come to find out they meant the HOT water would be turned off...not the cold.Breakfast items were FRESH which is usually not the case. Despite the housekeeping setbacks...we would definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel! We were in town for a wedding in Stillwater. The hotel was easy to find and easy to access! We drove right up! The room was clean and basic, that was all we needed! The room could use a little work but for an older hotel, I thought it was well kept. There was a small fridge in the room which was great because we had some snacks along!The beds were comfortable and I slept great! We were on the 2nd floor in the back of the hotel facing the bank. In the morning you could hear people in the hallway but it wasn't bad. The gentleman at the front desk was attentive and provided us with the information we needed!

We didn't have time to use the pool but it was a decent size!

We came down late for breakfast and it was pretty basic continental breakfast. Toast, Muffins, Coffee & Juices. There may have been more but it was almost closing time.

There was plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. We ordered a pizza from Carbones and that was delicious!

I would stay here again if I am ever in Stillwater!

We stayed one night. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. No frills but a good value for the money. We would stay here again if ever in Stillwater. Our non smoking rooms were truly non smoking - no problem with that. Breakfast was minimal but what you would expect for the price.

Considering competitive rate, high rating is well deserved. Only real problem is that Minnesota allows people to smoke in hotels.

Well constructed building makes for low noise from other guests. Housekeeping maintains rooms clean. Housekeeping personnel are very helpful and pleasant. Furnishings are standard and adequate. Bathroom sufficiently sized. Internet service at good bandwidth. Very responsive management. Located next doors to Herbergers, 4 miles from beautiful downtown Stillwater, and with I36 in front the Twin Cities are but a few minutes away.
