Having only spent about 15 hours at the Hilton Garden Inn Saint Paul Downtown location - I can say, it was conveniently located, had Skyway Access, and offered large rooms, comfy beds, and tons of fun amenities.

Hotel offered 24 hour cafe for snacks and food and had hot food service and room service until 10pm. They offered a gym, business center, pool, and lobby area. Front desk service was efficient and they offered quick check out service via the phone so that made it really easy.

The hotel was clean and although not brand new, it's not run down by any means. Views from my room included the Saint Paul Cathedral and downtown Saint Paul buildings. Parking was $15 per night and they included both free wifi and free newspapers in the morning as well as free coffee in the lobby.

I'll definitely be staying here again - especially because thanks to the Skyway it's connected to my office building so I don't even need to go outside to go to work from the hotel. How convenient - especially in those Minnesota winters!!!

I had a year contract in St Paul, 3 work days a month every month for a year. I booked the first 6 months of rooms in September for $121 a night. I called tonight to cancel 2 of the 4 nights for February as my schedule changed and they raised the rate to $131 for the remaining two nights. I inquired at Hilton.com and the customer care rep contacted the hotel directly and they REFUSED to give me the $121 rate...WTH? I canceled Feb and March and will go elsewhere the remaining 7 months of my time in St Paul. They lost 25-28 nights at $121 a night to try and jack me for another $10....SMART!!!

I was to interview for a position at Regions Hospital located in St. Paul and it was a perfect hotel to choose. The hotel is located near the hospital. It has a good staff and rooms are pretty decent. Not that costly stay. They give a complimentary popcorn, granola bars and a mineral water bottle on check in. Inside room you find a coupon for a complimentary drink. They have a zip check out facility enabling you to leave whenever you want without even going to reception. The surrounding area is cool. Good places to eat. There's a Macy's store nearby for shopping. I just stayed for one night , but I don't have any complains and felt comfortable. Right now construction is going on , so you might need to be careful in selecting the route while walking.

Room was clean, bed comfy. Only complaints were bad pillows
