We stayed here 8/26/11-8/29/11. The place is run down. On the 3rd night I woke up with an itchy rash all across my back, my son had large red bumps on his legs and a rash all across his arms and neck. I tried talking to the front desk, but they blew us off. We had to take my son to Urgent Care when we returned home, where the dr.s diagnosed "insect bites". He had to see a dermatologist and get 3 different meds.
The worst part is the lack of response from the hotel itself. I could never get thru to a manager, my calls were never returned. I attempted to contact corporate Super 8 - they referred me to the owner, whom I sent a letter to with no response. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they didn't receive a response either.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This motel is in desperate need of a make-over. Fruitloops in the heater, cracked tiles, hole in the way behind the door, rusting fixtures.

My husband and I were there with our toddlers last weekend. Where do I start?? When you get to the hotel and walk in you know right away it is very old. The first thing the man behind the counter did was demand my credit card. I say demand because he was very rude. I should've left immediately, but I had two tired little kids in the van and needed to get them out... The rooms are tiny, the box springs are very old and tattered, the mattresses are very old and lumpy. My back hurt for 2 days after sleeping on it. There were no usable outlets. We had to unplug the lights and radio to plug our phones in. The lighting was REALLY poor and dim. Probably so you couldn't see the condition of the room more clearly. There were holes in the wall. The carpeting was filthy, the bathroom had crusty dirt on the floor and splatters of dirt on the walls. The tub surround was full of mildew. The 1980 zenith tv did have a few channels you could watch. Most of the channels were very fuzzy. The walls were paper thin. I could hear the person in the room next to me texting at 3 a.m. On to the pool - the pool room was around 50 degrees (we were there in December, but it wasn't terribly cold outside), the pool was about 60 degrees. It was so cold we took our little ones in the hot tub instead (we NEVER take them in the hot tub) for a few minutes before just giving up. The breakfast they advertise?? That was 3 kinds of cold cereal, coffee, and juice. The parking lot was solid ice. Before we left I was informed that they didn't want to give me a credit card receipt because I booked online... Well, they had no problem TAKING my credit card to pay for the room... Anyways, in the end DO NOT STAY HERE. This is December 2011. After reading the rest of the reviews and the random "good" reviews I've come to the conclusion that the good reviews are written by the owner. No one who stays in this hotel for real would EVER give it a good review. Seriously. It's dirty, the service is very poor. Not a SINGLE hotel employee behind the desk smiled at me during my stay.

Tend to stay here quite regularly. Never had an issue until recently. The company charged my credit card after I checked out. I happened to notice by mistake. It took me 5 phone calls and complaining to corporate to get it resolved. It was only when I threatened to file something with the Better Business Bureau that they reluctantly refunded my card. It wasn't tax or some other odd charge--it was completely unauthorized random charges. To this day they can't explain how it happened and rather than apologize, they told me I needed to work it out with my credit card because it wasn't there problem. I get this is a cheap hotel and one shouldn't expect much. But, I never knew a chain would actually take pride in swindling their customers. They never even denied what they were doing was entirely wrong. They just didn't care enough to want to fix it.
