Visiting my son in college in Northfield, MN and needed a hotel room for two nights. This place came up as being close by. Right off a main highway, the lobby has less than zero atmosphere and even less appeal. The hotel clerk was equal to her surroundings and not very helpful. No elevator. It's advertised and claims to be a "Non-smoking" hotel, yet my room reeked of cigarettes, plus the round burn holes in the blanket confirmed the presence of smokers. Will never stay in this dump again!

We stayed here in October 2011. For $80/night this is a 4 star hotel. For $120/night (which is what we paid), the place is a dump. They renovated recently, but you still have to search for an outlet for your laptop. You bang your head on the towel rack when you lift the toilet seat. The hotel ran out of shampoo! There was no mention of this when we checked in; the next day we had to go buy a bottle. Huh? Did 40+ guests have to do the same thing?? The staff is nice, and the breakfast is fine, but bring your own shampoo.

Well we are half way through a 3 day stay and so far things are GREAT as they always are at Choice Hotels... Breakfast was as good as a hot Continental breakfast gets, the staff has been friendly and helpful and the rooms clean. (We have family staying in another room here too.) the room has a nice 40 inch flat screen TV and the bed is comfortable. the WiFi signal is also excellent and no problems with the signal dropping... I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Lakeville area... Oh, and there is everything you could need within walking distance... Lots of stores and restaurants ...

We stayed here 4 10 nights. This comfort has some of the nicest staff anywhere. Bill and Veronica were especially helpful. The hotel itself is very clean. The pool although small was nice and the hot tub was really hot.

The rooms were a good size the air worked well. Above all it was clean!!

On several days we started work early and the staff always had breakfast ready. Which is so appreciated!!!!!!

Breakfast was good I enjoy the new waffle flavors. A nice change of pace. The area itself can get crowded on the weekends but breakfast is well stocked.

Every night we came back to hot cookies yum that were not the usual cookies these were actually good. Workout room was clean and equipment in working order.

We would stay again if back in the area. Close to mall of america and downtown Minneapolis. Plenty to eat around as well.

Again what makes it stand out is the staff and the fact that it's clean!
