I live about an hour away from my office and given some nasty project deadlines, I spent one quick night here vs. driving home. Given it was the holiday week, rates were very low but I still had that quality Hampton experience. I needed sleep and breakfast and got that. The hotel is on the older side. The bathrooms are very small and the room had the feel that they never intended to put a large king size Hampton bed in it. The closet sticks out a bit which blocks the view from the desk to the TV (something that as a business traveler has become a bad habit for me).
The breakfast was as expected and despite the age, I felt the hotel was clean. It certainly met my needs for this short night and if presented with the same working scenario, I'd stay here again. If I were a business traveler coming to the Eden Prairie or Bloomington area, I'd probably defer to the new HIlton in Bloomington.
