We just got back from our two night stay at the Staybridge and we were very pleased. We had originally planned to only stay one night but decided on two when we realized what we were getting for our buck.
They serve a free breakfast and dinner buffet. The menu for dinner changes each night and its a simple meal but good. For instance we had chicken fajitas the first night. They provided the chicken and your basic fixens along with a mini salad bar. Because the rooms have a kitchen area, I would recomend going to the store and spending a few bucks to so you can saute some onion and green pepper and maybe cook up some spanish rice and make it a real good meal in your room. Ours had a kitchen area and a little breakfast bar...perfect. Also each morning for breakfast my son and I went down, made a couple waffles, piled some eggs, sausage, and bagels on a plate, grabbed some juices, and coffee and then brought it up to the room and ate in our kitchen area. The lobby area was just so crowded each morning and bringing it to our room was fun!
The pool and hot tub could of used less chlorine. I highly recomend bringing goggles, my son and husbands eyes are still red. It was clean though and nice, you just have to be prepared and also note, they spent about two hours in the pool!
All in all though for 95.00 with the taxes to have a room that has a seperated bedroom with a king bed, and a kitchen a living room area and free breakfast and dinner is amazing and aforadable for those with chidlren.
The other great thing was they hd a library area with bookshelf that had a bunch of DVD's you could check out from the desk. They were fairly new movies, but again great for those with kids!
Another thing that was great was there is a Regal movie theatre right across the street.
We went to the 6:50 pm show and it was only 6 bucks a piece. I dont know if they do this all the time, but what a great deal and lots of movies to choose from. There is also a Target and Cub foods across the street.
I will definatly stay there again and recomend this to all my friends.

I LOVE this hotel. We tend to stay at Motel 6 because of the ridiculous rates that mediocre hotels always want to charge. I am so sick of being treated as if they are doing "me" a favor to stay at their hotel. Also, I find it to be ridiculous that when you inquire about a suite, most hotels charge suite rate for just a standard 1 room with a few extra feet added.
Staybridge Suites offers REAL 2 room suites with a full kitchen and they allow dogs!
For $89 a night walk in, I received a 2 room suite with 2 comfortable double beds, 2 tvs, and a full pull out couch with a kitchen.
In addition to that we all had a "FULL" hot breakfast everyday. I'm talking Omlettes, with sausage, bacon, or ham, oj or any other juice , milk, coffee, fresh made oatmeal, fresh cut melon, bananas,yogurt, muffins, bagels, coffee cake, and waffles. The whole 9 yards! It was unbelievable!
Everybody in the place greeted me with a smile and a good morning. Coffee, tea and milk is available all day long. The room is full of amenities, with dishes, extra bedding, and nice toiletries.
The hotel has an indoor pool, workout room, and small grocery.
Did I mention that the rate included 3 kids and a dog?
Best of the Best with only a short drive to MOA. I won't stay anywhere else when I return.

My family and i went on vacation the third week of June and decided to vacation in the Bloomington, MN area to visit the Mall of America at the recommendation of family friends. I researched the internet and stumbled upon Staybridge Suites. I had never heard of them before but we decided to take a chance. Can i tell you that this was the BEST choice that we've EVER made for a hotel during vacation for our family?! We had a comfortable King Suite that had a bedroom with a television that closed off from the living room which also had a television, a full kitchen and a pull out couch that slept 2. The amenities didn't stop there, the complimentary breakfast was not just the usual continental breakfast....it was a full of fresh, different choices of foods.....the best i've ever experienced!!!! Not to mention that Tues-Thursday you got a complimentary 'sunset' meal (Swedish meatballs w/ mash potatoes/ corn dogs/ salads/ etc.). Depending on the days you were there the adults were able to enjoy the company of other adults as the hotel had a movie showing in the Living Room area w/ complimentary snacks.

I loved the fact that Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo were only a short 10 min drive away. There were also MANY places to eat in the area, not to mention a Target, Starbucks, Movie Theatre across the street.

Finally, one of the amenities was a complimentary washing machine and dryer on each floor, which was really helpful being that we had 2 young children traveling with us.

All in All.......i would recommend and have been recommending people to stay at this establishment. Kudos STAYBRIDGE SUITES....YOU ROCK!!!!!

We LOVE this hotel. Everything about it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. We were on the 1st floor which was easy and didn't deal with the elevators. The staff was top of the line, as was the pool area and the breakfast. The guest computers in the library area were useful and we used the free DVD's often. Good selection of adult and kid movies. Very comfortable common areas for guests, with nooks for privacy. My kids loved the pool area. It was always clean and well stocked with towels. The floor was very safe, no slippage. We will always seek out Staybridge for future trips.
