My husband and I stayed in the cabin for 3 days on a mini-honeymoon after our wedding. We drove from Chicago and arrived in the after dark to a welcoming, perfect little cabin. We ran into Brian at around 9 pm on our way out to search for food and he was so friendly and full of recommendations for restaurants downtown. From the way we came in from the highway, it seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere, but a large main road was only moments away. It was a quick and easy trip into downtown Traverse City.
The next morning, I had a cup of tea and relaxed on the screened-in back porch. It was everything I wanted after the stress of planning (and having) the wedding. Perfect. Seriously, if you see these pictures and think "man, I'd love to be there right now", you should be. Because it's exactly that good.
The cabin was small, but cozy and comfortable. There's a nice fireplace in the living area that I enjoyed throughly. There's also a microwave and small fridge in the room, as well as a water cooler and some basic necessities like plates, mugs, and silverware. I'd go back a million times. It was beautiful and quiet and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend the cabin! It's completely worth the cost and you will love it. Can't wait to go back to Whispering Waters!More
