We stayed here in August 2011 with our grandkids. It was awesome. There were lots of things to do. The kids were never bored. It is a lot cheaper than going to an amusement park. It had all the rides you could ask for as well as lots of free things to do. The campground was very clean, and the pool was very well kept. Laundry rooms, showers and washrooms were very clean. Train rides, putt putt golf, go karts, bumper boats. There was a dance on the saturday night, and movies, all you could eat breakfast on sat and sunday morning for 5$ for adults 2.50$ for kids. Can't beat that. The sites were very large and clean. firewood was for sale at 6$ bundle or 4 for 20$ delivered right to your site. and it was even cleaned out the next morning by a staf member. The best part was the golf cart rental. I was able to take my kids all around the park to see and to play on the many childrens play equipement. The only bad thing I have to say about this stay was the wifi, it was very very slow just like having dial up. But all in all it was a great time. We will be back here to camp with other family members for sure. I also tell everyone I know about our awesome trip.

We have stayed at numerous KOA campgrounds and this was one of the best! The staff was very helpful especially that two of our bikes got stolen, not there fault, but we should of known better...LOCK UP YOUR BIKES!!. The campsite itself is very clean and all the amenities were close....sawmill city is definitely worth the price on wristband days. The kids loved it!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and with family booked 5 cabins. Would definitely go again.

So instead of cleaning the pool which the water looked like soup as opposed to clear, or cleaning the showeres, lots of hair on walls and in drains, or the bathrooms, beyond gross.. The staff spends time harrassing families. I would not stay here again if you paid me, avoid at all costs the staff could ruin your weekend too.

This was our second time coming to this KOA and this time we brought friends. The last time we stayed in a 2 room cabin, 2 sets of bunk beds in the back room and one double bed in the front.. as well as air conditioning. This time we stayed in the 1 room cabin * one double bed and one set of bunk beds and air conditioning. It was clean, cool, when it got too hot and there was an amazing swing on the porch. You can also book tent sites,cottage types, which have bathrooms/kitchens, as well as trailer pull thru's. There are places to do dishes and here they also have stove tops in case you wanted to boil or fry something. Bathrooms were clean but the men:s ran out of toilet paper more often then the women's, free movie each night, bumper water boats( the best) go carts, mini golf, blow up water slide, bouncy pillow. All these activities cost $ but during the week you can buy wrist bands and go as many times as you want. Ice cream cones sold there are huge, didn't try the pizza sold there. Campfire wood is reasonable and they will drop it off at your site. Two pools, sometimes they get crowded, and the first time there they were super, this time they were a bit cloudy but I think it was so many people with sunscreen etc. You can rent bikes.. from one seater's to 6 seater's. We had break issues with one and were able to exchange it plus he gave us extra time. Not far from the malls, so if you need something you can hop in the car and head into Port Huron. Down the street is a drugstore in case something is needed.
