Northern Michigan Hospital recommended the Coach House Inn to our family as they are one of three motels on their list for families. Very clean and a good location. Family owned, very helpful and friendly in our time of need.

Motel is about half occupied by recently paroled criminals (usually sex offenders) and they get the overflow from the local homeless shelters.

I generally agree with the reviewers before me - the place was basic (an older style motel, shaped in a U), but very clean and comfortable. It is in the north end of town, which makes it convenient to beautiful Harbor Springs while still not being very far from "downtown" Petoskey. It was a busy time when we were there, with a large car show in St. Ignace, so the $70 price seemed reasonable. Other places like Super 8 were charging that, too, I think. The gentleman who ran the place was very helpful, and was always available if we needed him. While this place is nothing to rave about, we DID find it very comfortable, quiet and clean, so we were happy!

What a find! We were passing through the area with no reservations, and found the whole town nearly sold out. This motel had 1 room that cancelled so we grabbed it. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The gentleman that owns the motel was very helpful and friendly. We stayed here to gamble at the nearby Odawa Casino. This motel is on the shuttle stop, so it's very convenient.

The room itself was very cozy and CLEAN! I know this sounds crazy but the beds were those "old fashioned" spring beds and my husband and I can't stop raving about the GREAT night's sleep we got on it! Sometimes newer technology isn't always better. Ha.

It was a great stay and would most definitely return on another trip. Thank you!
