Being a traveling ice skating mom with my daughters team. Mids is always the tough hotel to find because your there for three nights so you always want to make sure you like where your staying. So the bottom line is was I happy and would I stay again. The answer is "yes"
The good is the customer service. Top rate from the breakfast workers to the desk clerks. Larry the hotel clerk who is also your shuttle driver was very prompt, and full of humor made it fun to ride to places. The rooms-well they weren't bad. However, I found myself wishing for a swifer to dust with. When I was looking for plugs to plug in all of our electronics I was a bit grossed out. With the dusting issue. It would be easy to improve this. Also, you need a few more plugs I found none by the bed. Lighting. With the change to the new energy bulbs we have lost our lighting. Its dim. The furniture. The chair was really dusty and showed because it was red and the table was very stained with water marks. I think it makes the room look older then it is. Beds and pillows are great and you really get your wakeup call when you place it. My friend had a room with a very musty smell to it?? so they switched rooms. We are a large skating organization and have ties to the hotels picked and I would choose this one again.
