I stayed here because of the Frut gig at the Rec Bowl, it was about 3 blocks away. The room was clean, the AC worked, however, the door to the room had to be slammed shut to properly close, if you let the door close by itself, anyone on either side of the door could just push or pull it open. it was also hard to get the dead bolt to lock. if you want to see this door for yourself the room I stayed in was number 115. If by chance you have this room or a similar problem with a door, don't let you young children close the door, everyone will think it's closed when in fact it might not be.

i'll probably stay here again, but i'll check out other hotels within 10 miles. basically because i'll be here only for Frut gigs at the Rec Bowl, this hotel is the closest option, only 2-3 minutes by car if you haven't been drinking.

The hotel is now a Quality Inn, although its probably a subtle difference since I believe Quality Inn and Comfort Inn are part of the same company.

I stayed here for a wedding in the area. Given the reviews on the site and the location of the hotel, I was expecting an absolute dive. I stayed here anyway because the wedding rate was really low and I thought that after a dozen or so beers at the reception, I wouldn't really care.

However, I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel looks a little rough on the outside and in the hallways, but that's just because its old. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean, a lot cleaner than I expected! The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall, if you are looking for a resort or a five star experience, obviously this isn't the place for you. However, if you have an event in the area and just need a place to crash, you really can't find a better value than this.

When we checked in the person in charge was involved in a personal conversation on the phone and left us waiting so she could finish. The "no smoking" room smelled of smoke and mold and the carpet was dirty. We found it faster to walk the stairs rather than take an elevator as the elevator was old and rickety. We checked out after one night and went to the BEST WESTERN CONCORDE INN. More expensive but well worth it!!

Upon arrival, desk staff was eating food and watching t.v. and seemed uninterested in checking us in. The building is very old and in bad repair. Our bathroom sink was stained and looked unclean. The room was very thread bare. Based on the condition of the hotel, we did not even risk the so called continental breakfast the next morning. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with this property.
