Our pen pal group held a reunion at the Best Western Lapeer Inn from April April 24 thru April 29 with people coming in from several states plus Canada and Australia. The hotel staff was excellent, courteous and tended to all our needs and made this an excellent, enjoyable and fun experience. We used their catering facility as well and this was a nice evening banquet meal with great service. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast and pool areas as well as smaller seating groups located throughout. No complaints at all. Thank you Best Western Lapper Inn Staff!!!

We stayed here one night. The pool is good size and the water warm. It also had a whirpool, arcade and nice pool deck. When we checked in she asked us if we wanted the "upgraded" room for $3 more. These rooms were recently remodeled and have kitchenettes. How can you go wrong for $3! We didn't! The room was clean, fresh and well-laid out with a mini-refrig, microwave and coffee pot. The breakfast bar was the standard fare. We would stay here again, but in the remodeled rooms, for sure.

My room was quet off to the end - I requested to be far from the bar that got loud at night. It was comfortable and the staff was freindly nad helpful. I was able to walk to shopping and food.

worst place i ever stayed in, service was horrible,the front desk clerk was very rude was on phone fighting with husband or boyfriend, made us wait 10 mins, the room smelled horrible, there was poop in the pool, presume from a child i hope, there arcade took like 5 dollars from my son, the breakfast had nothing and a couple bagels were molded, just very nasty, find some where else to stay, and they charged us 15$ for pool towels with out telling us, just applied it to our credit card
