We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn- Diamondale, MI (last weekend) for my sons local wedding reception. We and 2 other friends/relatives had rooms all attached on the first floor. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The sink area was out in the room across from the shower/toilet area which made it nice as the mirror wouldnt get steamy while showering- a nice touch!! No exhaust fan in the bath area tho which I thought was different, but maybe since the sink was not in that area they didnt need it. Room was narrow- Had a large chest of drawers with a big TV on top with a swivel base and sometimes kinda stuck out if my husb. had it turned towards the way he was watching- a smaller flat screen and some smaller furniture would be a big improvement- just kinda tight walking thru the room. There was also a mini fridge and microwave which was very convenient for us!!!
Free hot breakfast- which incl. waffles, sausage, eggs, hash browns, assorted cereals hot and cold, donuts, bagels, and muffins, juices, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and coffee- anytime DAY or NITE!!! Room was kept clean and well stocked!!
Indoor pool and hot tub- which my husb used ALOT!! He thought the temp in the hot tub was around 103 or so and that was pretty nice!! Pool was clean and very inviting- the room that housed the pool and spa was beautiful- Lots of glass windows all around- Pool towels were available so no need to bring your own!!
Small fitness room just off the pool area with the usual stuff and a TV so u dont get bored working out!!
Hotel is just off the freeway at the Lansing Rd exit of I-96. Wendys is there, but the Arbys has closed . No other restruarants close by, BUT with in about 7-10 minutes at the Saginaw Rd exit of I-69/96 there are a ton of them- Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Steak n Shake, Bennigans, Dennys, and on down towards the Lansing Mall Applebees, Red Robin, Carrabas, Cheddars, Outback, Logans, Los Tres Amigos ( excellent local Mexican rest) and Reno's- a sports bar with lots of beer on tap!! The usual fast food rest are all over Saginaw as well.
We pd about $90/nt for our room (std double) which was a very good value!!

P.S.... Make sure Chris gives you your free cookies when u check in!! :)

Check-in clerk was friendly and, since I was staying due to weather, provided me with a toothbrush and deodorant plus a two big cookies upon check-in. The pillow-top bed was very comfortable, and the room with a small frig, microwave, and small sofa and writing desk was very clean. Only complaint was that DirectTV wouldn't come in due to the snowstorm. Did not use the pool area but it looked very clean.

After traveling all day this Comfort Inn was just what we were looking for. We had a third floor room and it was pleasantly quite and comfortable. The room was a little small but had everything we needed. There were a lot of football fans (Ohio state vs University of Michigan rivalry weekend). It had a nice pool area like most Comfort Inns. There was a hot breakfast in the morning to get us off to a good start for the trip home. Very little around this Comfort Inn only a Wendy's next door.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was recommended by the people I was working with due to its proximity to the work place.
The hotel was very quiet; the room was spacious with a sofa, fridge, and microwave. The TV was still the CRT tube not the flat HD modern ones.
Other than that I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was ok but it is included in the hotel price. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is conveniently located to major highways. Malls (Lansing mall), and restaurants are approximately within 5 miles.
I liked this hotel and will go back.
