Toilet didn't flush, beds are hard as a rock and to top it all off the manager who you couldn't understand confronted my 8 year old daughter and I about not wearing shoes while having our breakfast so we could then go to the pool afterwards only 20 feet away. We were fully clothed yet others were in just shorts and no shirts. He picked on us and badger us all the way down the hall until I finally lashed back at him when he stated get out of my hotel in 5 minutes or I'm calling the police. Guess what I'm going to corporate. Absolutely absurd!!!

I like this Holiday Inn Express ... I travel through the area a couple times a year and my first choice is always this Hotel ... The building is modern and updated, the rooms are spacious clean and tidy, and the staff has always been pleasant with me. I must always get an upgrade of some sort as I always end up with a room that has a spa in it ... My rooms have always had a Microwave and refrigerator and I must say I love the flat screen TV's ... The bedding is updated and very comfortable. The pool is inside and open year round, except for one trip when it was closed for maintenance ... The breakfast is quite a spread if you like the usual hotel buffet .. After 14 years of traveling I don't really get into it anymore ... Being less than a mile from the Birch Run Outlet Mall there are tons of restaurants, fast and otherwise, to grab my meals ... I will continue to stay here as I travel through the area, no problem ...

The hotel is near Frankenmuth and that was the purpose of our trip. It's a clean hotel but the staff was very rude and even after asking for a quiet room we were put directly outside of the elevator on the 2nd floor. People were slamming their doors up until 11:30pm. We called the front desk to report the noise and finally took it upon ourselves to ask the loud teenages outside to be quiet because our kids were sleeping. The shower in our room was also very loud and squealed when you turned on the water. When checking out the next day after very little sleep from elevator traffic we again told the front desk how loud the room was and how dissatisfied we were. Apparently other people also reported the noise on the 2nd floor. They credited our Priority Rewards 1,000 and that was it. That's the equivalent of a lollipop and have a good day. Very disappointed.

My Husband and I have stayed here several times one of those times being for Our local honeymoon Dec 2010 we had a great time in a two room suite.There was plenty of room for the three days we were there during a big snow storm.
The pool is very room and clean never crowded anytime we have been there.The breakfast is decent.All of the staff seems to be very nice welcoming and helpful.

Would stay here again and we have since that trip.We just returned from night at this hotel.We were told the wrong check in time by the person who made Our reservations so we showed up an hour early Our room was not ready so we came back an hour later at the correct check in time only to find Our room was still not ready.Instead of having us waiting any longer the girl at the front desk upgraded our room to a two room suite.(Which worked out great because we were there for Our one year anniversary)We were so pleased with that type of treatment and not being left to wait any longer.We had a great time this visit also.We are taking Our girls back for New Years Eve in a couple of weeks.We will continue to stay at this locations as long they keep up the great service and have such a wonderful staff.

This hotel makes us want to continue to stay with them on Our visits to the area.We also love being reward members so that we are able to able to take advantage of the points you earn and late check out times.
