After a long days drive, it is always nice to find a good hotel where you can get a good nights sleep and this is certainly one of those places.The staff was incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure any of your needs are addressed.Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, the guest rooms were the first done and and I found them to be really well furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. The fact that there are many restaurants and even a Wal-Mart nearby was an even added bonus.

After reading lots of questionable reviews about this hotel, we tried it anyway, as most other hotels were booked. We were surprised, not nearly as bad as the reviews make it sound. The hotel looks like it is in the process of a renovation, the former pool area is closed and there is work being done near the lobby. That being said, we had a suite on the second floor which has fresh paint and carpet, quite comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. We were pleased, everything was clean and comfortable, a great value for the price in this area. The manager was onsite and very friendly and helpful. We would stay again, missed not having a pool is the only complaint.

For less than $80 a night, you can get a comfortable king-size bed, nicely sized fridge, microwave, dresser, safe, desk and chair, TV, two nightstands, chairs...the rooms are very nice for solo trips. The town is small and have small-town amenities and motels like this one, but that just made the caring service and quarters that much better. I was very happy at the motel!

My job requires me to travel, so I stay at many motels. The Days Inn in Benton Harbor has an outstanding staff that caters to the customers needs. They are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet, the furniture was arranged well. I would recommend staying at the Days Inn to any traveler. Also, There is a beautiful state park there on the lake.
