My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The property is beautiful and although it seems like it is in the middle of the woods, it is right near Lambert's Cove beach (which is a private beach, but they have beach passes for guests). They also have a beautiful pool area and hot tub out back.

We stayed in the Seaside room on the second floor - the décor in the room is beautiful and very cozy. The bathrooms are a little small (but they do have one in every room!) so they can stay steamy for a while after you shower, I would suggest that female visitors bring a mirror to get ready outside of the bathroom if you'll be doing hair and makeup right after you shower. The feel of the property is much more like a home than a busy inn. Even during the busy dinner hour it was still very quiet, which was nice. The owners and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. It had cleared out on our last day there and the front desk staff was kind enough to give us a tour of the other rooms when we had asked. Each room we saw was beautiful and had its own unique décor, so you see there was thought and are put into every detail in the property.

The restaurant is excellent as well. Having breakfast served on site was so convenient, and delicious! I loved the fresh fruit cups every morning and my favorite breakfast special was the breakfast BLT. Served on fresh croissant with local heirloom tomatoes and arugula, and bacon. It was so good! Dinner was also delicious. We ate here on a previous visit and found the quality of food and service to be consistent with both visits.

Overall we were extremely happy with our visit and will definitely stay here again in the future.

We spent a delightful 4 night stay at the Lambert's Cove Inn during mid-September (a great time to visit the Island . . .). Very comfortable accommodations and Scott and Kell and the entire staff are dedicated hosts who went out of their way to ensure that we had access to all that Martha's Vineyard has to offer, from providing touring tips down to chairs, umbrellas and towels for our beach excursions. The Inn and its spacious gardens are located in a quiet area and offered a peaceful respite after spending full days exploring the island. And the restaurant is excellent, providing sumptuous breakfasts and delicious dinners. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

What a charming Inn we found on Martha's Vinyard. Lambert's Cove Inn was luxurious, yet cozy. The proprietors, Kell and Scott, were such gracious hosts. The accomodations were elegant and the service was exceptional. The grounds were beautiful with a wide variety of plants and flowers and a cleanly manicured lawn set off by an inviting pool.

Having just spent a long weekend at Lambert's Cove I could not be more pleased with the accommodations, hospitality and professionalism of the staff. The Owners of the Inn went out of their way to insure that all of our needs were addressed. The Inn was beautifully decorated, the rooms were very comfortable and the grounds were wonderful. Their knowledge of the island was great. They had suggestions for where to go and what to see,
