“"Happy Hurricane" party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We're usually stuck taking vacation at the end of August, because my wife teaches summers at a University. We always try to stay at Seasons when in P-town. Once again John accomodated our schedule! 2011 was interesting, as Hurricane Irene decided to blow through while we were there, prompting "Irene blows P-town" T shirts!

Only 2 of the other guests decided to split a day ahead of Irene's projected landing. The rest of us rather quickly decided to combine our food & alcohol and have a "Hurricane Party". What a hoot! We didn't really know the other guests, but John's hospitable nature made us feel like we were brothers & sisters! John graciously let us "commandeer" the Dining Room for our spread; we even had a bartender! John made sure every room had a flashlight for venturing around in the dark; what a good "big brother"!

P-town was pitched into darkness as the power venues were no match for Irene. There was some wind, but not too much rain, as I recall. Greetings of "Happy Hurricane" greeted every Commercial Street visitor. Probably one of the more memorable stays here.

Oh, and did I mention the delectible breakfasts?

“Thoughtful Accomodations, Good Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

We found this B & B a great match for our needs - close to everything but just far enough removed to get a break from the Commerical Street hustle and bustle. Our room was a very comfortable size. There was plenty of room to hang or fold clothes. We didn't need it, but there was an iron and board in the closet. Despite the fact that this is an old Victorian House, we were very pleased to have the conveniences of a modern facility with sufficient electrical connections for phone, labtop etc. We had an unexpected need to use a fax and were allowed to use what the hosts use for their business. The hosts were friendly without being intrusive. They provided valuable tips on restaurants, sightseeing, and nightlife. The gourmet breakfast was different every morning. Prior to our stay here we had never been to Provincetown ... I think we will be returning!

It was our first stay at the seasons: our first impression WOW. This vintage style captain house is really amazing....Rick and John did an excellent job to make our stay warm and cosy. The breakfast is superb and the long table where we had breakfast with the other guests was a nice place to have nice conversations......Beautiful garden, good parking possibilities, excellent situation, good rooms ....what more do you need!!! Thanks Rick and John we had a very nice stay.....we are looking forward for our next time.....

“A great getaway”

Seasons is a lovely and charming B&B. The rooms are very beautiful and the house itself is warm, friendly, luxurious, and kept to immaculate detail. The breakfast was unbelievably good. The real lure of seasons doesn't lie in it's top-notch physical accommodations, but in the atmosphere there. Their motto, an inn for all, defines the welcoming yet private and understanding attitude that makes Provincetown the special place it is. I cannot think of another hotel or lodging which so well captures in itself the spirit of the town of it's in. Seasons, much like Ptown, is the perfectly place to just get away, make friends, and relax. Plus, Rick and John are adorable.
