My fiancee and I were in Plymouth for a wedding in October and happened to be staying at another establishment in Plymouth that was simply disgusting. We were able to find the Seabreeze Inn, luckily and switched our accomodations promptly. Thank goodness we did as our experience would have been ruined otherwise.

Jim, the Innkeeper, was a great resource on local place to dine and pointed us to a great place for breakfast while we were confirming reservations on the phone before we had even checked-in. He was also very friendly and sat and talked with my fiancee and I during our breakfast the nice morning and gave us a brief history of the house and how much work he and his wife put into it to fix it up upon their purchase of it several years before.

Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable as was the bathroom. The location of the Inn is a short walk away from the Mayflower exhibition and Plymouth Rock and very convenient to the rest of Plymouth as well.

Thanks to Jim for saving our weekend and providing great accomodations and company at thye same time. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

“Good Hospitality”

While B&B's seem to be a dying trend (especially among 20 somethings), I found this place to be very comfortable. The room was extremely clean, fresh, and comfortable. It's nice this place has off-street parking and a private entrance. There are only 3 rooms, so it's very quite. It was also enjoyable having breakfast with the other guests at the communal table downstairs. Jim made a wonderful selection of fruits and eggs and was just all around great to talk with. He knows his stuff about Plymouth and recommended another book by Philbrick that I'll have to check out. I would be pleased to return to the Seabreeze.

As an aside, if you are heading to Plymouth for a history lesson, I would highly recommend reading The Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick. It will help fill some facts and stories you just don't pick up on a visit to town.

We stayed for 2 nights in mid October 2011.

Room Tip: The room with two twin beds is cheaper and still very nice. The bathroom is shower only (no tub), b...

Jim & Susan made us feel at home from the moment the door was opened. Comfortable room, amazing breakfast cooked & served by Jim. Good walking distance to any part of Plymouth. Brilliant views from Bedroom window of the sea. Home from Home. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

Booked this at short notice with the help from nearby visiters centre. easy to park near all attractions The room was clean and lovingly decorated The lady in charge was very helpfull .No air con meant a very sticky night as it was unusually warm for september.A private entrance is a good idea Breakfast in the morning sounded great but I did not feel up to a full english. Overall I would definitely recommend this b/b
