Stayed here Oct. 18, 11. Travelling in our RV with two std. poodles. Charged us $10 extra per day for dogs and we were relegated to a "Pet" site. Nothing provided for the fee. Not even an endless supply of gold doggy bags. Could not leave our dark forest site to enjoy any of the site amenities as could not have our dogs, Animals got ticks here and we were not told this could be a problem. Note they also charge the "Pet fee" for children. Great family place, I don't think so. WiFi poor and an hour free for the site cost is a rip. Would only recommend site to adults who don't mind getting nothing for your fee and obey the rules.

Visiting Pinewood Lodge campground has been a family tradition for many years. The campground itself is beautiful and it is very well maintained. I am always pleased to find clean restroom facilities. Rates (& any other fees) are clearly stated on their printed information and are comparable with other campgrounds in the area. In the few instances where there have been any problems, the park owners and staff were ready to help resolve the issue and do whatever they could to make our stay a great one. Even though we've stayed numerous times, the staff always makes sure to point out important information (such as quarters needed for shower & change machine available in game room, quiet hour policy, fires out policy, etc.) which is helpful. Overall just a fantastic place!

The first night we stayed in one of the cabins. There was a big problem with carpenter ants. A number of times I was woken up by something crawling on me. I went into the next room to be greeted by atleast 15 to 20 of the ants crawling on the walls and floor. I understand the cabin is located in the woods but to. Have that time of infestation is bad. $188 down the drain. My girlfriend and I kept the place clean and didn't leave food out so we know it was a previous problem before we arrived

We stayed for over a week. It is beautiful The bathroom needs updating. There is a P
Pond however they need a pool.
