able to rent condo direct ocean at last minute. The view and location were fantastic and the kids were very happy. the condo was roomy, poorly decorated, dingy with stained furniture - yuk. Next time I will plan further in advance and rent hotel/condo more to my liking. Ability to use hotel amenities (restaurant/bar/beach chairs) next door was a plus.

Room 205 - The shelf under the kitchen sink was literally 4 square feet of white and black mold 1/8 inch thick. When I called to get another room or my money back they said since we had occupied it they could not do that. We rented through the real estate agency across the street, not through Clarion. The screen door for the balcony was sitting off to the side. The latch on the balcony door did not operate at all. The linen package looked like it was rejected from a third world hotel. The dishes and glassware was scummy. The top of the refrigerator was covered with dirt. After getting no satisfaction from the rental company we left and got a room somewhere else. I will try to get my money back, but even if I don't it was better than getting a disease from staying in this dump. I felt like I rented a condo in a ghetto. Absolutely horrible. Believe all the negative posts you read. I have stayed here several times before, but things have changed.

This is our 6th trip to Marigot (booked with Clarion) and have noticed that the rooms are becoming run down the last two years. The 2 bedroom unit had only four dining room chairs, kitchen poorly stocked (4 spoons, 2 steak knifes, 4 glasses, 3 wine glasses, no blender, few pots and pans), no art decor on walls. The kichen cabinets were dirty along with the ceiling tiles, all the silverware (what few items we had) had to be cleaned. No broom or vacuum in unit, it took several calls and four days before we received. Housekeeping only drops off towels everyday, they don't replenish toilet paper, soap, dishwash detergent or change sheets. We do enjoy the location and convenience to the beach and Clarion, but the management needs improve conditions. We won't be back.

This is about the 11th year we have stayed at the Marigot; we love the location and the people are very friendly. The connection with the Clarion adds additional ammenities which is very nice. And we always enjoy the bands that play outside from 4-8.
