An Excellent overall stay. Very quick and polite check in. Rooms were large, well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Great location. Free WIFI, and nice breakfast spread included. Awesome staff! Highly recommend a stay at the Fairfield Inn when in the area.

Everything was great. Hotel is very clean and relatively new. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We stopped here for one night on a long road trip, but it could be a destination on a future trip because of the classic steam train nearby. During the Christmas season you can take a ride through the mountains on the train with Santa. Sounds like something the kids would surely love.

My husband and I were on a road trip from our son's college in Ohio to my husband's college reunion in New Haven. While driving at night we decided not to drive as far so I pulled out my droid to look for a hotel and saw the wonderful reviews for the Cumberland Fairfield Inn. I am so glad we stopped and stayed the night. The hotel was very nicely decorated; much better than other Fairfield Inns I have stayed at previously. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. The pool area and fitness center were top notch!! The breakfast area of very nice and the man who runs the breakfast (I think his name was Rob) does an excellent job-he made sure to replenish food and have everything hot. You can tell he really enjoys working at the hotel and taking care of guests.

Hotel area is nice and with the leaves we had a pleasant walk around. One other great perk is the laundry facilities. They supply detergent for free. So the Fairfield Inn Cumberland was a pleasant surprise along the road and I would gladly stay again if in the area.

nice new property, breakfast is great (person who puts it out is so nice) + Renee at front desk is great! gym is good, pool is maintained

cons: no one answers the phone, my family called to the hotel the whole week when i was there to get connected to my room, phone rang and rang everyday. one person at front desk was apathetic and sheets/bedding had stains that I asked to be changed twice.
