This two room gem advertises itself as a vegetarian/vegan B&B. This should not dissuade the meat-eaters if fresh, organic, innovative, and just plain delicious matters. You won't gp hungry and you'll recognize everything offered in the diverse breakfasts served. The inn is a stone's throw from US Route 1 and Penobscot Bay in the historic midcoast town of Searsport, about half way between Camden and Bar Harbor. The inn keeper is generous with her time and counsel regarding the interesting things to see and do in the area, including the local Penobscot Marine Museum. Additionally, she has an insider's knowledge for avoiding traffic when day tripping to Acadia National Park. Clean, quiet, and attractively priced, this B&B is a peaceful oasis within an otherwise tourist intensive part of beautiful coastal Maine. Pet lovers will be particularly enamored with the innkeeper's four legged family. We enjoyed our experience.
