We stayed here for one night while visiting old downtown Portland as downtown hotels were so expensive and booked. I felt this was still overpriced. Marriotts seem to be getting quite pricey. They used to be our "go to" hotels in past years. This facility is a typical Fairfield, nothing special. Room was pretty clean, tub needed some caulking, bathroom is small with a corner sink and no counter space for "things". Breakfast area is small. No tables available so we ate in our room. Such limited space, they had the waffle maker on a table in the lobby! The servers were always cleaning things up and replenishing coffee.
Avoid it. We stayed there twice because that's where the travel company put us. Too far from shopping to walk. No place to eat. No closet, no luggage rack( we used the dilapidated ironing board) and, the first time, no fridge. We pulled hair out of the shower drain for an hour and still took showers with water up to our shins. The on-duty manager cheerfully acknowledged that they had problems with room maintenance and that he was just there until he raised the money to go back to college. The second time we actually had a small fridge and the shower worked. Unfortunately, housekeeping staff didn't. The toilet and under side of the toilet seat were disgusting.
I stayed here 1 night before an early morning flight. I don't have an specific complaints about this hotel, other than it felt a bit dated and seemed more like a economy business hotel you might find in an expensive metropolitan area like Boston or NYC. The lobby and breakfast areas were extremely small - I have never seen a Fairfield like this. I left too early for breakfast but can't imagine many people fitting in that area. Room was ok - very small compared to other Fairfield, bathroom tiny and a rack on the wall instead of a closet with a door. If you are a light sleeper, get a room on the front side as the windows are thin and you can hear noise from the turnpike. Bed was comfortable so no complaints there. This place is fine if you just need a place to crash for the night, but would not recommend for anyone with kids or for someone looking to relax - just too small and cramped.
Nice location near airport and highways. Its standard value and what you would expect for Fairfield. It has a heated outdoor pool and free breakfast room
